IBL Bulk Liquids wishes to inform its customers and suppliers that Phil King has decided to retire from his full-time executive role at the end of September 2006 after thirty three years of service including eighteen years as a director of the company. We are, however, pleased to announce that Phil has agreed to remain on the board in a non-executive role for a period.
From its roots in Lime Street and Hull Forge Wharf, Phil has overseen the successful expansion of the division into the deeper water facility at the quayside in Alexandra Dock in Hull.
We are in no doubt that his many friends and contacts from within our customers will join with us in hoping that he and Margaret enjoy a long and happy retirement. No doubt Phil’s skill on the bowling green will progress in further leaps and bounds!
Archie Dempster takes over as General Manager of the Bulk Liquids Division upon Phil’s retirement. Archie has a wealth of experience in liquids storage and handling, having worked for many years as a plant and logistics manager with Kuwait Petroleum International Lubricants. At the same time Chris Brown, who has been with us for almost twenty-five years will become Operations Manager.
Going forward, we have no doubt that customers will continue to receive the same level of high quality service which they have enjoyed in the past.
